We are committed to ensuring every state school and college is supported by a thriving alumni community. We know that access to relevant and relatable role models is crucial for a young person’s development.
By becoming a member school, you will have access to the support necessary to build a thriving and engaged alumni network that will help you do even more for your students. You will access to your own online portal, and a range of varied and interesting resources designed to help build a sustainable network of former students. Our member schools share best practice and innovative ideas around how to engage alumni to meet the specific needs of your students.
Alumni can return to school to share experiences and insights into the world of work, education and training after school. This may include supporting decision-making at important transition points, such as 14+, 16+ and 18+, or returning to give careers talks to inspire students to work harder and aim higher. Many schools have used alumni to increase the take up of languages or STEM subjects, or to offer a range of work shadowing opportunities. Alumni create a community of volunteers for a range of activities from school governors to fundraising. The list of possibilities is endless.
