Last month, three schools in Hertfordshire came together to discuss best practice on how to build thriving and sustainable alumni communities. The roundtable was organised by Christine Payne at St Clement Danes School, who had links with careers advisers in neighbouring schools.

Attendees shared excellent ideas across a range of topics such as keeping in touch with former students and encouraging whole school engagement. They looked at their own alumni engagement plans together, and used the time out of school to look through their networks and make plans for the coming year.

Any schools or colleges interested in taking part in a roundtable? Future First can share resources and presentations and can come along and facilitate a session with a group of schools. Get in touch with your alumni officer or email info@futurefirst.org.uk to find out more.
