Future First turns 15 this month! Our CEO, Sue Riley, reflects on what this means for the charity and introduces our “Give 15” campaign.
Helping state schools build their alumni and employee volunteer networks is what we do so all young people can see ‘someone like me’.
I’ve had the privilege to be the CEO of this small but mighty social mobility charity for the past two years. I work in this space because I strongly believe that we all have the capacity to make a difference. ‘Pay it forward’ and we will all benefit. Each day our alumni and employee volunteers do just that. Our funders and employer partners help to make that possible.
Whilst the UK still has one of the poorest rates of social mobility in high income countries, charities and businesses across the UK are working hard to change that. I’d like to invite you to be part of a future that moves that dial further.
This month to celebrate turning 15 we’ve launched our Give 15 campaign:

Give 15

Donate £15
For every £2,250 raised we can help another school develop its alumni and employee network. That’s support for 1,000 young people. Helping young people ‘see someone like me.’

What careers advice would you tell your 15 year old self? Share your wisdom to help the next generation. We’ll share your stories in our school workshops helping young people navigate their futures with confidence.
