Future First needs your vote!
Our fantastic film, Someone Like Me, is up for an award at the Smiley Charity Film Awards.
Our film, which was launched as part of Schools Alumni Week in April 2023, features real students who have benefitted from Future First programmes, highlighting why relatable role models and alumni are so important for their aspirations and future outcomes.
The Awards recognise marketing and film excellence in the charity sector, and to win would hugely boost our chances of spreading the word about the impact of alumni and how relatable role models can boost social mobility.
Someone Like Me features students from all over the UK. Gracemount High School, Weavers Academy, Sarah Bonnell School and St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School, who all work with Future First to build and engage their alumni networks, did a fantastic job in allowing us to film their students in their facilities.
How to vote
Voting is completely free and only takes a few minutes. You can only register once, so please share the link with your colleagues, friends and contacts, and help us get through to the next round of judging.
Winning a prestigious award like this will help us to reach more young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds who need to know that ‘someone like me’ can be successful in life.
